Sanlúcar de Barrameda: my city

Hello, I'm Galpe; my name is Paco and this is my web, which I dedicate to everybody from Sanlúcar and, especially, to those who are outside their native city.

Very simple, without pretensions of any type, and only with the spirit to make formal appearance in the Web.

What I'm going to show you about Sanlúcar is far from the wide variety of things it really has. In the province of Cádiz, river Guadalquivir flows into Sanlúcar. Its wine, subtle, pale and light Manzanilla, and its king prawns, make Sanlúcar famous.

The weather, typical dishes, charmy people and welcoming atmosphere, have made many people who come to Sanlúcar because of their job, to stay here to live, even once theay are already retired. There must be a reason!.

Come to Sanlúcar, you'll get back.

And meanwhile, go for a virtual walk around the city through this web, where you'll also find humour, interesting links, "buscadores", etc.

... and thanks for your visit

Since I am not very good at translating Spanish into English and due to the poor result computerized translation gives, I have had the help of some friends in this task to whom I really thank for it.

This web couldn't have been made without my friend Miguel Castillo's teaching and help.

Also, my acknowledgement to all people who have provided me with information and graphics and those who just helped me to find them.
